The American Red Cross of Dutchess County is proud of our
relationships with a large number of governmental, public, private,
not-for-profit and faith based organizations throughout the county
that are committed to the health safety and well being of all county
residents.

Department of Emergency Response of Dutchess County
Mission:
To assist the Emergency First Responders of Dutchess County and
local municipalities to prepare and respond to natural and man-made
emergencies in their communities. Guidance is provided through
established protocols such as Dutchess County’s Comprehensive
Emergency Management Plan and the Fire and Emergency Medical
Services (EMS) Mutual Aid Plans. The County’s 9-1-1 Emergency
Communications Center provides a central communications center for
EMS, Fire and Police.
Dutchess County Interfaith Council
Mission: To
promote understanding and respectful relationships among diverse
religious communities. To focus the attention and energy of faith
communities, nonprofit organizations and public agencies on
religious and ethical issues of concern to the people of Dutchess
County. To be a source of information about faith communities and
interfaith activities.
Health Department of Dutchess County
Mission:
The Dutchess County Department of Health is a diverse group of
capable, experienced and motivated professionals whose mission is to
protect and promote the health of individuals, families, communities
and our environment.
Medical Reserve Corp of Dutchess County
The mission of the Dutchess County Medical Reserve Corp is to
create a cadre of local community volunteers to assist existing
medical response professionals and facilities in response to a large
scale disaster.
Salvation Army of Poughkeepsie
Mission:
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical
part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the
Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is
to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet the human needs in
His name without discrimination.
Sherriff's Office of Dutchess County
The Sheriff's
Office is a multi-faceted public service agency. We provide the
following types of services: law enforcement agency with County-wide
jurisdiction, civil process services with fees established by state
law, operation of the County Jail,administration of pistol licensing
for the County, its residents and businesses.
